Our Recruitment Process

What to expect

We like to keep things simple and are always looking for talented people who want to work with us.

Generally you'll join us through one of these pathways to a career within our group.

Future Talent Pathways

Our Group has a broad range of opportunities for Apprentices, Graduates, Trainees and interns.


Our process for future talent programs is:

  • Submit your Expression of Interest

Submit a single Expression of Interest, or apply to a specific job to be added to our candidate pool.

  • Matched to Job

When a job is posted that matches your profile, you'll be invited to apply.

  • Values Alignment Assessment

If you are a suitable match for one of our roles you will be invited to complete a values alignment assessment. This quick assessment will take no longer than 15 minutes.

  • Phone Screening

We will contact you to ask a few questions regarding your experience and approach to determine your suitability.

  • Interview

Depending on the role, you'll either have a face-to-face interview, a video interview, or both.

  • For some specialist roles you may be required to complete a practical assessment to demonstrate your suitability for the requirements of the role eg working at heights.
  • Checks:

Working Rights and Criminal History
We will verify your working rights documents, as well as police checks for all roles plus driving checks for apprentice and trainee roles.

Pre-Employment Medical

Where successful applicants will be engaged in physical work activities, we will assess that you are medically and physically able to perform the tasks.

Language, Literacy, Numeracy

Where successful candidates are completing a qualification, we will assess that you have the required language literacy and numeracy to successfully complete the qualification.

  • Outcome

You'll either be offered a role in our next intake, or put back into our candidate pool for the next opportunity.

Trade and Field roles

Our Trade and Field Roles include: Lineworkers, Electricians, Plumbers, Gas Pipeline Technicians, E&I Technicians, Cable Jointers and many more.

    We will verify your working rights documents,  complete a criminal history check, pre-employment medical and collect any required licenses and tickets.
  5. Welcome to our Group
    Your line manager will be in touch with you to discuss arrangements for your first day.

Professional and Office roles

Our Group offers a wide range of professional career paths in various fields including Digital, Corporate Services such as Finance, Procurement and HR.

This pathway includes specialist disciplines of Engineering, Project Management and Operational roles.
